Deuteronomy 8:11-20

Given the option we will all choose the path of least resistence just about every time. Life can't always be easy, but the easier it is the happerier we generally are. And, whether we realize it or not, we all have the innate drive to make things as easy as we possibly can. But the easy way is not necessarily as easy as we might think it will be. There is nothing inheriently wrong with things being easy, but we can't lose sight of how we got there in the process.
