Mark 3:19b-35

There is no doubt that family is important. These are our most fundamental relationships and the place where we first learn our own place in the world. We need family and, in some ways, are incomplete without one. But not everyone is fortunate enough to grow up with a family who can provide the love and support we all need to thrive. More and more familes are living estranged from one another in fractured relationships that cannot fully fufill the function that family is meant to. But family is not first and foremost a biological term...it is a theological one. And in God's family there is a seat at the table for everyone.
