December 2nd COVID-19 Update
Good morning church family,
On Thursday, December 3rd the statewide 2 week freeze will end and new restrictions will be put into effect based on the risk level in our county. Based on the recent covid spread in our county it is likely that we will be placed in the ”extreme risk” category. Even at this risk level, faith-based gatherings can meet indoors at 25 percent capacity with a maximum of 100 people if space allows. This means that beginning this Sunday, December 6th, we can again return to worship in person while still offering our live stream for those who are not yet ready to return in person. We will continue to observe the state mask mandate which requires face coverings to be worn at all times while indoors (and outdoors IF social distancing cannot be maintained) as well as practice social distancing between family groups.
Please be aware that cases of COVID-19 have increased at a rapid rate in our county over the past few weeks with community spread being one major contributor. Please do what you can for the sake of one another to help us ensure the safest possible environment so that everyone ready to return can feel safe doing so.
Grace and peace,
